Welcome to the Gulval Farm Cottages gallery page. We have separated our holiday cottages, Trehaven, The Flower Box and The Lily Pad into three albums so you can view them more easily.
Our Cornish farm and nursery in Churchtown, Gulval has been occupied and farmed by the Matthews’ family for at least eight generations. Accessable records show a connection from the early 18th century, but our roots likely extend much earlier.
In 2017 we decided to convert one of our flower barns into two luxury, eco-friendly, holiday lets. Work began in early 2018 when we swapped our gardening trowels for builders’ trowels!
Not long after the completion of The Flower Box and The Lily Pad we decided to renovate Trehaven in late 2020. Stripping back the outdated 1960s decor we aimed to retain the wide open spaces while bring the property into the modern word.
