Location
Gulval Farm Cottages encompasses three stunning properties. Situated along Posses Lane in Churchtown, Gulval we have The Lily Pad and The Flower Box. Whereas Trehaven lies on School Lane in the heart of this pretty and quaint Cornish village. Not only are they superbly located for you to explore the West Penwith, but they are also within easy distance of many great attractions.
Our holiday cottages lie within walking distance from a mile-long stretch of dog-friendly beach (all year round), ½ a mile from the town of Penzance and 2 miles from Marazion.
There are also three major supermarkets within a 5-10 minute walking radius and many other essential amenities, including some great pubs and restaurants, which are all close-by. The holiday cottages are nestled in a rural location, but are close to the A30 and other main routes.
Walking
There are some magnificent walks from the doorstep of the cottages such as the historic St. Michael’s Way and the South West Coastal Footpath.
It’s an easy 1 mile walk east to Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens and Restaurant. Additionally, Trengwainton Gardens and Tearoom is just over 2 miles to the west of Gulval.

Near-by Sennen, Gwithian and Godrevy beaches are a surfer’s paradise with surf-schools if needed, there is also paddle-boarding, kayaking, kite-surfing, coasteering, rock climbing, horse-riding, cycling, deep-sea fishing trips and sea safari’s all available locally.
For the Foodies
Penzance and its surrounding area are home to some great chefs with some wonderful places to eat out as well as great takeaways for eating in. From good pub grub to fine dining experiences we have a list of recommendations for you to peruse (including dog-friendly ones).
